LE KLINT Swirl 2 large pendant light copper
Swirl 2 designer pendant light with handmade plastic lampshade Danish designer Øivind Slaatto gets a lot of his inspiration from nature, especially from snails. A snail’s house also seems to be the template for the Swirl pendant light, which looks like a snail’s house with its turns and turns. His motto is that the light, shape and function of a lamp should always form a coherent whole wherever possible. He has obviously lived up to his own motto with the pendant light. In true Scandinavian style, Swirl appears in a timeless and functional design that, despite its simplicity and functionality, does not lack refinement. The plastic elements that make up the lampshade are white on the bottom and copper on the top. Most of these lights are still hand-made in Denmark, since some of the complicated techniques cannot be performed satisfactorily by machines. Founded in Copenhagen in 1943, the company has since then produced designer lights by hand and with the utmost care. Energy efficiency class:A++
