Swirl 2 designer pendant light in a Scandinavian design with LED light bulbs The lampshade of this Danish pendant light is spiral or swirl-shaped, as the name Swirl suggests. Simple Scandinavian design is as trendy today as it was many decades ago. At the start of the 20th century, a well-known Danish family of architects and designers began to produce special pleated lampshades for lights by hand. The models from the early days of the company, which the family later founded in 1943, are still in the Danish manufacturer’s product range and are still very popular. The Swirl pendant light is a newer model, which was developed by designer Øivind Slaatto in recent years. The Swirl series was inspired by the shape of a snail's house, and in line with his motto that light, shape and function in lights should go hand in hand. The plastic lampshade allows the light to escape through the gaps, thus not only becoming part of the general lighting but also creating interesting lighting effects. Energy efficiency class:A++
