Its lampshade suggests a dynamic nature. The plastic elements, which are arranged in a lamella-like way, have a copper-coloured surface, which shines through the light coming through the gaps. Like all other lamps produced by the manufacturer, the Swirl 3 hanging light is hand-made, meaning that each product is one of a kind. Its first store opened in Copenhagen more than 70 years ago, and you can still buy these unique Danish designer lights at the same address today. The trademark of the Le Klint’s lights are their lampshades, which are pleated by hand using a special technique which has been used ever since the founding of the company.
