Light-Air - the LED table lamp which appears to float In addition to its puristic design, the defining stylistic feature of the LED table lamp Light-Air is the illusion that the lampshade appears to hover in its frame. The cone-shaped lampshade and the frame are made of thermoplastic technopolymer, and the lampshade exudes a hint of purism when it is united with the picture frame-like frame. The designer Eugeni Quitllet developed the Light-Air series of lights for the design company Kartell, which is based in Noviglio near Milan. Plastic in all its shapes and colours is the basic material used to make the designer pieces for which Kartell has become famous over the course of recent decades.
