LED pendant luminaire Spiro with exciting inner life The attention of the viewer is immediately drawn to the design of the shade of the LED pendant lamp Spiro. Concentric circles of different sizes made of wood veneer fill the flat cylindrical shade with surrounding band of black plastic. The LEDs emit their warm white light vertically through matt diffuser discs, while towards the bottom the rings made of wood veneer create a very special lighting atmosphere. If required, Spiro can be switched and dimmed via app on the tablet/smartphone/smartwatch thanks to the built-in Casambi Bluetooth module. The designer Remedios Simón created Spiro with reference to the "Op Art" (optical art) created in the 1960s, in which geometric shapes are combined into optically deceptive structures. The production takes place in the Timberlite® technology of the manufacturer LZF-Lamps, which enables particularly thin, flexible and translucent wood veneers. - With wood from sustainable, environmentally friendly forestry (FSC® certified).
