Luceplan Titania hanging light with colour filters
Titania hanging light – a fascinating classic from Luceplan Titania – a hanging light with a lampshade in a very unusual design – was created in 1989 by the two Italian designers Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Medo and has become a real icon of the Luceplan product range over time. It is because of the aesthetics of the design and the versatility of this extremely functional light source that the Titania hanging light is still a constant source of delight after such a long time. The lampshade, which looks as light as a feather, consists of a fin-shaped aluminium structure, inside which there is an E27 socket. Either a halogen bulb or an energy-efficient LED bulb can be used. By using filters in the colours red, green, yellow, blue and violet, the colour of the light from the light bulb can be changed as you wish and according to the desired atmosphere. The filters are included. But that is not all: the height of Titania’s suspension system can be variably adjusted by means of a counterweight which is visually integrated into the design.
