The Fox F14-656 1HP Ultimate Mortiser was designed with the serious user and demanding workshop in mind. The powerful 750W induction motor develops 1HP, easily powering mortisers of up to 1" or 25.4mm in softwood and ¾" (19mm) in hardwoods. There is a precision milled cast iron table that gives the user both lateral and longitudinal adjustment options via the well placed hand wheels. There is a hydraulic gas strut that provides counterbalance and ensures optimum control and high quality movement during operation. There is a double bar rack for accurate up and down movement and a user adjustable depth stop for precise and repeatable strokes. The head of this mortiser travels 200mm.
