The Record Power DP16B Bench Drill with 13" Column and ½" Chuck will accept a wide variety of bits and can work at four different speeds in order to allow the user to work with many different materials including wood, metal, plastic and many others. The table is cast iron and can tilt to 45º, not only this but it will accept most drill press vices allowing for a secure hold, increased accuracy and maximum safety. If you need extra drilling capacity the table can be moved to the side so that the base can be used a working table. This secondary table also accepts drill vices. Further strength and performance is provided by the headstock which is cast iron in order to add weight and reduce vibration. The handwheel is also cast iron. The DP16B also features an accurate, positive depth stop, ideal for accurate repeat boring.
