Menu Hashira hanging light linen 18 cm white
Pendant lamp Hashira with cylindrical textile shade Hashira pendant lamp resembles a traditional Japanese lantern made of rice paper in its design, but its shade is not made of paper, but of fabric. This was stretched around the metal frame, whose struts are visible through the fabric and give the lamp a graphic effect. The pendant lamp owes its name to its shape, because Hashira is the Japanese word for column. The Hashira series of lamps was created by the design company Norm Architects. Founded in 2008, the design studio works primarily in the fields of residential architecture, commercial interiors, art direction and graphics, and through the deliberately chosen name Norm points to the importance of standards and traditions for the fields of architecture and aesthetics. Timeless and durable products are the result of the designs of this design studio.
