UV-C air purifier MiKi 2 for pendulum mounting The UV-C air purifier MiKi receives an update with version 2. Added are a function display including sensor and display for a pending lamp replacement, a changed insertion of the connection cable (new: on the opposite side to the switch), an improved fan (air flow rate 78 m³/h instead of 70 m³/h so far) and a further reduced noise level (32 dB instead of 38 dB so far). MiKi 2 - short for "micro-organism killer" - is a device from the German manufacturer LI-EX for air disinfection. Bacteria and viruses, such as cold and flu viruses, are rendered 99.9% harmless. For this purpose, the air is sucked into the interior of the white lacquered aluminium housing by an integrated fan, disinfected by a special UVC lamp and then expelled into the room by another fan. MiKi 2 is optically neutral, works ozone-free and quietly and does not emit any harmful UV-C radiation to the outside, so that the presence of people and pets is possible without hesitation during operation. This makes the air purifier ideal for private and public recreation and work rooms, for example in offices and administration, schools, nursing and care facilities, doctors' surgeries and clinics, hair and beauty salons. - Neutralisation of pathogens by means of UVC light - UVC lamp: 55 W, wavelength 253.7 nm, replacement recommended after 8,000 h of operation (replacement lamps available separately) - Total power: 65 W - LED status display: blue for trouble-free operation, red when the lamp is due to be replaced within the next 500 operating hours and flashing red in the event of a defect or when the lamp has exceeded its service life. - for suspended mounting with enclosed pendant set - alternative mounting methods possible; mounting accessories available separately - 230 V connection with plug cable - Cleaning of 78 m³ air per hour - Very quiet operation: max. 32 dB - Made in Germany Notes: - For best effectiveness, the device should be placed at about head height. - During the first 1 to 2 hours of operation, a metallic smell may occur; this is due to the manufacturing process and is harmless to health.
