UV-C air purifier MiKi 2 for wall mounting The UV-C air purifier MiKi receives an update with version 2. Added are a function display including sensor and display for a pending lamp replacement, a changed insertion of the connection cable (new: on the opposite side to the switch), an improved fan (air flow rate 78 m³/h instead of 70 m³/h) and a further reduced noise level (32 dB instead of 38 dB). The MiKi 2 air purifier (short for "micro-organism killer"), which is intended for wall mounting, is visually unobtrusive and functionally convincing. The device, produced by LI-EX in Germany, neutralises 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, effectively reducing the risk of spreading infectious diseases such as flu or colds via aerosols in the room air. The white aluminium housing houses two low-noise fans for drawing in and expelling the air, as well as a special UVC lamp for air disinfection. The ultraviolet light of the lamp remains inside the unit and no ozone is produced. This makes MiKi 2 suitable for use in all dry rooms where people or even pets are present.
