My New Flame innovative LED table lamp black
With a USB cable and a dimmer - flickering LED designer table lamp My New Flame Its invention can be traced back more than 5,000 years, and yet the candle still exercises an incomparable fascination on people. For the designer Ingo Maurer, this fascination was so grated that he dedicated one of his famous lighting designs to the candle. The LED table lamp My New Flame combines the unmistakeable flickering of what is probably the oldest light source in the world with modern technology. The core of this designer light is enthroned on a solid metal base: a PCB of the kind which can otherwise only be found inside electronic devices and which is not really known for its visual design qualities. In the lamp head, there are 128 little LEDs on each side of the PCB which reproduce the flickering of a real flame in a deceptively genuine manner. Each LED has a brightness of 6 lumens, but it is important to note that all the LEDs never shine at the same time. The flickering of a real candle recorded on video served as a template during the production and programming of this unique light. Well-camouflaged in the middle of the PCB, there is a small button switch which can even be used to dim the LEDs to create an even cosier ambience. The actual on and off switch is located in the base of the light, right beside the connection for the USB cable. My New Flame can - provided that it is equipped with four AA/Mignon NiMH batteries - be set up anywhere, completely independently of the power supply. The included 150 cm long USB cable can be used to recharge the batteries (not included) after use. Alternatively, the light is operated via the USB cable. My New Flame - the designer candle of the future, which can provide innovative romance anywhere. Energy efficiency class:A+
