Smart Home LED recessed panel Areo with VariFit clamping springs and changeable light color, ZigBee 3.0 The black housing of the Areo LED recessed panel in combination with the white cover of the integrated LED module provides a high-contrast look. Thanks to the VariFit mounting system used with infinitely adjustable clamping springs, it also shows itself to be similarly multifaceted in terms of mounting. Out of the box, Areo can be switched on and off using standard wall switches. Significantly more functionality is available after integration into a smart home system based on ZigBee. It is then possible to dim the brightness, adjust the light color smoothly from warm white to daylight white, and control everything conveniently from the couch or even on the go. As a bridge, in addition to the gateway smik from Paulmann itself (free smik app available for iOS and Android), a ZigBee bridge from another manufacturer can also be used. This allows Areo to be integrated into existing smart home systems that support the ZigBee wireless standard, such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri. To get by without a bridge at all, appropriate handheld transmitters, such as the ZigBee remote control from Paulmann, are available. The aforementioned smart home elements are available separately via the accessories.
