The light can be chosen to suit any situation, activity, time of day or season using the included dimmer switch, which can either be mounted on the wall or used like a remote control. It can be infinitely dimmed and set to four lighting scenarios which are pre-installed on the switch. One dimmer switch can be used to control up to ten Philips Hue lights. If a Philips Hue lighting system with a bridge is already available, the spotlight can also be integrated into this system. To this end, the spotlight is incorporated into the system via the function Settings - My bulbs - Connect new lights - Automatic search on the Philips app. If this has been done, the app can be used to control the light from a tablet PC or a smartphone - and you can even do this remotely, for example to use lighting to simulate presence even when you are not at home.
