Black Philips Hue White Ambiance LED spotlight Pillar The Philips Hue Pillar LED spotlight can be used to highlight and illuminate specific areas in the living room, as the light from the included GU10 LED bulb can be directed to a desired area by simply aligning the reflector. The GU10 reflector inside is equipped with smart ZigBee technology, allowing the Pillar spotlight to be integrated into an existing Philips Hue smart home system. Once the luminaire has been successfully paired with the appropriate Hue Bridge (see accessories), Pillar can be controlled with your own smartphone or tablet using the appropriate Hue app. Whether dimming, time-programming, networking with other luminaires or changing the light colour, the app reliably controls the spotlight as well as the complete Hue system, even while on the move. Alternatively, the Pillar LED spotlight can also be controlled with a suitable dimmer switch (see accessories). This works with or without connection to a smart home system. In the mode without Smart Home, it can be switched on and off, dimmed and switched to four different pre-installed scenes.
