The shade in the shape of a truncated cone is made of clear, mouth-blown glass. Inside sits the E27 lamp holder, the sheath of which, like the metal structure, is in shiny chrome. Thanks to the transparent glass, a view of the inner workings is granted, making an E27 filament lamp (see accessories) a decorative addition. The triple rope suspension with separate canopy elegantly completes the design. The lamp provides direct light and makes a good figure especially above a table or counter. Sera is a product of the company Prandina, which was founded in 1982 by Sergio Prandina. The products of the Italian lighting manufacturer have a high recognition value, which often arises from the uniquely designed, mouth-blown glass shades.
