These UV ultraviolet Blacklight Tube Holder units utilise tubes that you would associate with the "glow-in-the-dark" effects of disco and nightclub lighting.The tubes are covered by a dark blue/purple filter and give off a purplish glow.Typical uses include: Anti-theft protection, Checking banknotes, stamps and documents, UV Nail curing, Scorpion detection, Night club and Disco, Stain detection.This fitting can be mounted on tables, wall or ceilings, and is enough to light a cabinet or a section of bar. Housed in a metal case with chrome reflector its comes complete with starter and T8 tube. An On/Off switch and 1.5m mains lead make this a versatile little unit.When using BLB light bulbs with varnishes or paints, check the manufacturer's guidelines on the correct lighting needed to activate their product.A further 2 sizes are available 200mm 20W and 1200mm 40W.
