DuoFern sun/wind sensor for wind and sun protection control, smart-home compatible The wireless sun and wind sensor from the Rademacher DuoFern product line enables brightness and wind-dependent control of compatible awnings or roller shutters, for example. Thanks to its swivelling wall bracket, the sensor can be mounted outdoors on walls, ceilings or even on the roof. It does not require a power connection, as it is powered by solar energy. Compatible actuators are, for example, the DuoFern tube motors, belt winders or awning motors. In this way, damage can be avoided in the event of a sudden storm, as the awning retracts automatically or the roller shutter comes down. When integrated into the Rademacher HomePilot® Smart Home System, the sun and wind sensor can also be used for automations and programmed scenes.
