The Record Power DP58B Heavy Duty Bench Drill with 30" Column and 5/8" Chuck is constructed from steel and cast iron, making it a sturdy and reliable machine. It is driven by a powerful induction motor and has a large cast headstock to offer rigidity and to absorb vibrations. The large table is fitted with a rack and pinion rise and fall mechanism and the machine offers the user 12 separate speeds, meaning it is suitable for working with both wood and metal. The speeds are controlled by a reliable pulley system and the cast iron table has locating slots to allow a vice to be fitted, the table is also able to tilt to allow drilling at angles up to 45º.
