The thicknessing table is made from sturdy cast iron and is adjustable for accurate, repeatable results. The 3.1c has a unique feeding system featuring rubber feed rollers, protecting the work piece from the beginning so you can achieve an excellent finish. The powerful 2300W motor provides a consistent performance even in harder woods. The 176kg weight ensures a safe and low vibration level and you can seamlessly switch between planing/thicknessing thanks to the spring assisted lifting planer tables. The maximum width when surfacing is 250mm with a maximum depth of cut at 3mm. The clearance height/width when thicknessing is 180/247mm with a maximum depth of cut of 3mm. The 3.1c produces an impressive feed rate of 8m/minute and there is a handy 100mm dust extraction suction nozzle. This version of the Scheppach Plana 3.1c comes with a slot mortising attachment that is ideal for adding another valuable function to an already versatile machine.
