Slamp Aria Applique wall light gold
Imposing designer wall lamp Aria Applique for unexpected play of light on the wall The wall lamp Aria Applique impresses with its imposing size and its dynamic as well as flowing lighting architecture. A radial structure of 50 different "arms" protects the light sources inside the basket and at the same time creates a three-dimensional volume. Only high quality technopolymers such as Lentiflex® and Cristalflex®, manufactured in-house by Slamp, were used in the production of the designer lamp. Lentiflex® allows for warm and even lighting, while Cristalflex® is used to give Slamp's lamps the grace and preciousness of glass. Technopolymers are plastics that are characterized by their lightness and at the same time by their resistance to breakage. With bulbs that spread pleasant and warm white light, the wall lamp creates a cozy and harmonious atmosphere, projecting unexpected plays of light on the walls. Aria Applique is not only a light source, but also a decorative element with a luxurious flair. It can be used both in private living spaces and in public environments. The design comes from the pen of internationally renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize is known for her architectural works, which are expressed in the realization of extraordinary and dynamic forms. Zaha Hadid was named "Artist for Peace" by UNESCO and included in the list of "100 most influential people in the world" by TIMES magazine. All of her dynamic and innovative projects are based on over thirty years of research into a wide range of sectors related to urban planning, architecture and design. The Italian company Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and is characterized by the use of materials developed and manufactured in-house. These technopolymers allow designers to create shapes that would be impossible with other materials. In addition, the technopolymers help reduce environmental costs by 4 times compared to the alternatives. The Italian lighting manufacturer has always paid special attention to sustainability. Accordingly, behind every luminaire produced are working steps that are environmentally friendly and well thought out. Since 2020, Slamp donates the residues of lights to companies that use them to make nesting boxes for bumblebees.
