La Belle Étoile was designed by the Italian designer Adriano Rachele. A product design graduate, he began his career in 2007 in Slamp's Research & Development department. Since 2010 he has been considered a young talent in the Italian design world and in 2012 he was honored with the Red Dot Design Awards for the design of the Veli ceiling lamp. His designs are characterized by uniqueness, technology and functionality and are characterized by soft and curvy shapes. The Italian manufacturer of designer lamps Slamp is based in Rome and was founded in the early 90s by Roberto Ziliani. The designer lamps produced are characterized by the use of materials produced in-house, which are resistant, durable and environmentally friendly.
