A shining “star”: Étoile ceiling light from Slamp “Star” is the English translation of the French word “étoile”, which was used as the name for the ceiling light designed by Adriano Rachele. With its appearance and its lighting effect, the ceiling light closely resembles a shining star. The special plastic Lentiflex®, which was developed by the company Slamp, is slightly transparent and prismatic, which has a positive influence in the lighting effect. It is no coincidence that the arches and curves which make up the lampshade are reminiscent of swinging skirts and the graceful movements of dancers. These were the inspiration for the designer Adriano Rachele when he designed the light. The special flexibility of Lentiflex® makes it the perfect material for extraordinary lighting designs. The Italian designer lighting manufacturer Slamp is known not only for these special, newly developed materials, but also for the resulting extraordinary lighting designs.
