Classic shape, innovative materials: The Liza designer table lamp by Elisa Giovannoni Its Baroque form is certainly the only thing about the Liza table lamp that could be described as classic or traditional. As far as the material and the type of lighting is concerned, Elisa Giovannoni – designer of the Liza light series for the Italian designer lighting manufacturer Slamp – is breaking new ground. Slamp is renowned for the development of new materials, namely technopolymers, which combine the respective positive properties of plastics with those of materials such as glass, for example. The Liza table lamp consists of Lentiflex® and Pewterflex®, the latter being responsible for the tin-like finish. A pleated lampshade forms a second layer under the Pewterflex® lampshade, providing an elegant look and interesting lighting effect. Another deviation from the classic table lamp form is the fact that this lamp is equipped with a second light source; in addition to the main light source in the lampshade, there is a secondary light source in the base of the lamp. A warm white LED, which provides gentle orientation lighting with 100 lumens, is installed in the base.
