tado° smart thermostat - add-on product for single room controlThe smart tado° room thermostat serves as an extension of the smart heating control based on the Starter Kit. Conventional wired room thermostats of the heating system or the floor heating can be replaced with this smart thermostat. Alternatively, it is possible to regulate the heating system with an extension kit via a wireless connection. To establish an Internet connection, the bridge of the starter set is connected to the router. The bridge communicates with the smart thermostat via radio. It is then controlled via the tado° app based on the location, the weather forecast, a schedule and the regulation of individual rooms. Data on outdoor air quality (e.g. pollen count) helps optimize ventilation times.For convenient on-site voice control, the thermostat can be used with Siri, Google Assistant or Amazon Echo.
