tado° Smart Thermostat add-on product for single room control This room thermostat is used to extend the smart heating control based on the Starter Kit from tado° to additional living rooms. It replaces room thermostats of the heating system or the floor heating. The Smart Thermostat replaces conventional wired room thermostats or regulates the heating system via wireless connection with an Extension Kit. To establish an Internet connection, the Internet Bridge (communicates with the Smart Thermostat via radio) of the Starter Kit is connected to the router. Via the tado° app, the control succeeds on the basis of the location, the weather forecast, a set schedule and the control of individual rooms. Data on outdoor air quality (including pollen load) enables optimized selection of ventilation times. For convenient on-site voice control, the thermostat can be used with Siri, Google Assistant or Amazon Echo. Using IFTTT, pairing with other devices is possible to create scenes.
