Slim Liza table lamp in a transparent design Most classic table lamps place the light source under the lampshade. This tradition is also upheld by the Liza table lamp, but this light also offers an additional LED light in the base of the lamp. In this way, a special lighting effect is created, which literally propels this classic form into a new light. The materials used are contemporary and come from the think tank Slamp. The manufacturer is known for its love of innovative ideas and has its own research department where new materials are created. One of these materials – namely, Lentiflex® – was used in the Liza table lamp. It is a polycarbonate with a surface that has been processed to create two layers with a backward slope. This 0.15 ° slope creates a reflective effect similar to that of water. Depending on the viewing angle and the current incidence of light, the colour changes and a multitude of facets are created. The Liza table lamp, therefore, already brings enchanting colour effects with it during the day and without being turned on. It turns into a definite eye-catcher in the evening when switched on, as the light source used (E27 base) creates dazzling colour schemes. The surface looks as if it consists of countless prisms. These reflect the incoming light. The resulting play of colours can be viewed without any problems, because despite the reflections, the glare is reduced to a minimum. This is crucial especially for table lamps in order to make working comfortably possible. The warm white luminous colour (2,700 K) conjures a interplay between light and shadow from a light that is altogether 70 centimetres in height and has a diameter of 35 centimetres.
