VERPAN Panto hanging light 50 cm
Designer pendant lamp Panto in ball shape The transparent acrylic which forms the outer shell of the Panto pendant lamp is completely spherical. The transparency of this shell allows a view of the internal system of reflectors which direct the light. Three white aluminium reflectors ensure glare-free light, which in the Panto model is mainly directed downwards. This makes this pendant luminaire particularly suitable for mounting above a table, e.g. in a dining room. Panto is a lamp model by Verner Panton (1926-1998), one of the most famous Danish designers of the 20th century, who was awarded and appreciated worldwide especially for his furniture, e.g. the Panton Chair from the 1960s. His enthusiasm for plastic also influenced the design for Panto, because the transparent sphere is not, as one might think at first glance, made of glass, but of acrylic. He achieved great fame with his designs in the middle of the 20th century, and today his ideas are again produced by the Danish company VERPAN. Each lamp is engraved with his name and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Energy efficiency class:A++
