LED pendant light Guise - a play of transparency and light The connection between transparency and light served designer Stefan Diez as inspiration for the creation of the Guise LED pendant lamp. When switched off, it is almost invisible due to its transparency, and when switched on, it fascinates its viewer with fascinating light effects. This is where the name of the light "Guise" comes from. The light source is hardly visible, only the glass itself seems to provide the bright light development. This effect is achieved with the help of filigree engravings that refract the light of the barely visible LED strip and thus shine with an intense glow. For the design of the Guise light, Stefan Diez was awarded the Red Dot Design Award, among others. Besides the technical highlights, the light also scores with its materials. The glass of the tube is borosilicate glass, which is handmade by the internationally leading glass manufacturer Schott AG. The careful manufacturing process by hand is particularly evident in the small blemishes in the glass, such as small air bubbles or inclusions, which make each light absolutely unique.
