Winged LED designer table lamp Lucellino LED
Dimmable designer table lamp Lucellino LED - adorned with goose feathers The table lamp Lucellino LED really is adorned with borrowed feathers. The wings made of goose feathers attached to the base of the LED light bulb, which is disguised as a traditional light bulb, go well with the table lamp. The wings are handmade and make the light appear almost weightless. Only a thin brass wire and the bright red cable seem to be preventing the traditional light bulb from flying away. Why and, above all, how an extremely modern LED bulb is skilfully disguised as a traditional light bulb merits further explanation. The light bulb developed by the Japanese company Toshiba Materials specifically for Ingo Maurer bears the brand name TRI-I and does not only look like a halogen bulb in the shape of a traditional light bulb, but also behaves as such in a technical respect - or even better. Whilst most other light bulbs, whether an LED, a traditional light bulb or a halogen lamp, only change their brightness when they are dimmed, this special LED also changes its luminous colour - specifically from 2,900 K to a very warm 2,500 K. The brightly shining area in the glass bulb, which is not in the base, but actually in the centre, becomes slightly red in the process. Sunlight served as the model for this luminous colour spectrum. For Ingo Maurer, this innovative LED bulb represents the first really adequate substitute for all lovers of traditional light bulbs and is thus rightly treated as a technological masterpiece. The entire base plate of Lucellino LED is designed as a touch sensor, allowing the light’s seamless dimming process to start when it is touched. Lucellino LED - a truly inspiring lighting design.
